Deep in the jungles of Nex Mons Mortis, a dark being stirred… a creature unlike any seen on Nex Mons Mortis since the crash of the great Yautjan ship and the eradication of the xenomorphs by the great warrior, Jehdin Hult’ah Thei-de. Sitting within the dank abysses of a cave, black, bloodied water dripping from the ceiling, was a small chestburster. Its head was crowned in the back, tiny points beginning to form, and the beast was of above-average size. Its tiny, sharp teeth were pointed like razor-blades, and its pale form had, even then, an air of royalty. A Queen chestburster, the greatest of the young Aliens, hissed as red blood dripped from its body, flowing to the ground below. The wound began to heal as the strange, ever-present virus began to seal the wound, but the tiny beast would not allow its host to destroy it. Survival instincts foremost upon its mind, it began to feed. Every strand of flesh that began to extend over the wound was swallowed, every attempt to kill it neutralized with a snap of its jaws. The healing process was slow, and this beast was fast. As it felt its stomach begin to fill, it crawled from the hole, which began to net itself together, muscles and skin growing at a visible rate and the blood beginning to turn black as night. The skin began to grow darker, a bruised look with a hint of red, and even the tiny, unintelligent serpent realized it had not much time. Using but the instincts passed to it by its long dead mother, the creature shot its tongue outward through the eye of the dead body, piercing through to the brain. The body shuddered, and then all of the red, bloodied strands of muscle-tissue fell limp over the wound as the beast was finally, and irrevocably, killed. The Queen hissed out a weak screech, exhausted, and slithered slowly into a tiny orifice within the wall of the cave, just large enough to fit two or three men. Black resin began to bubble up around its tiny, pale, weak form as it began the transformation, into a Queen…
2 weeks later…
Letumaetis, the young Queen, hissed with malign hatred. She was no longer the miniscule serpent she had been, no longer the weak, defenseless little dragon. She raised her head with a resounding hiss as her duty had been completed. She had spent that past 2 weeks since her emerging from the cocoon as a fully formed Royal serpent spreading the webbing of her hive in a thin, nutrient layer throughout the hive, eating to regain her strength for that one task, and now, she needed prey, hosts, for the hive. All she needed now, she thought to herself, were the eggs, and hosts for them. Sitting down upon a small perch she had made herself 3 feet above the rest of the floor, she began to hiss and screech, flesh growing from just beneath her tail. The pale, tan egg-sac began to force itself from within, before its limp, withered, dehydrated form finally flopped out upon the ground. Soon it began to fill itself with liquids, bloating to over 10 times its previous size, and the tiny opening at the tip opened wide from the ground, revealing the Queen’s first creation; Her first egg. She hissed with satisfaction as it began to spread its roots through the ground. Her hive was beginning, she felt it in every pore as yet another egg emerged from the pale blob of an egg-sac, the tiny beast within eager for its prey…
The final week before it all began…
Letumaetis sat upon her perch, high above the ground, and everywhere around her were the brown, leathery eggs, arranged in row after row of deadly baby-sacs. Within each was a single Facehugger, a single member of her species waiting to happen. Outside of the cave, a man stumbled in, screaming and firing a powerful M4A1 Pulse Rifle into the forest. An inhuman howl echoed through the forest as he rushed in, blood soaking his shoulder, thick, black blood that had clearly come from the forest’s deadliest inhabitant, a Zombimorph. He turned the corner, and stopped dead in his tracks. The man stood but inches above one of the Queen’s many eggs, Letumaetis obscured from view by a nearby stalagmite. He poked it once with his M4A1, wondering what it was, what it was doing here, and if it was dangerous as within, a tiny alien readied itself to attack. Meanwhile, on the other side of the hive, a squad of the marines walked through, holding Smart Guns at the ready, unaware of the threat that lay below. They needed a place to rest for the night, a safe place where the beasts would not follow, and they had mistaken this hive, this living hell, for just such a place. Even as they walked upon the thick resin of the hive they did not realize, until it was too late that the webbing connected to something alive…

Alright guys, this is how this RP is gonna work. We will be implementing a system rather similar to a combination of supercommando (bladeguardian when he made the system up) and the system for the Nex Mons Mortis thread at www.predatorhunted.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rpg&action=display&thread=4793&page=1. There will be three kinds of posts, interactive (In which you interact with your environment and the people around you, keep these short so that the environment can interact back.), combat (in which you’ll be in combat, fighting, keep short, very similar to interactive, but these will usually be with NPC’s, and so I will decide, not another player, what they do.), and general (a long, descriptive, detailed, and fun to read post about interacting strictly with the environment, exploring the immediate area, and preparing to enter into one of the other two kinds of posts.)
I will be the grand arbitrator of this, meaning that I will decide where you find enemies, and when, I will decide whether your opponent sees you or not, for what reason, and when, and I will be the king of this little world. You make nothing up.
Everyone starts out as Facehuggers, and there are currently 9 humans within the hive. Each of them is carrying an automatic weapon, so if you emerge from the egg right in front of them, they’ll probably shoot you to hell. Use stealth and strategy, make your way through the Facehugger stage okay, become a chestburster after about 2 hours in-game time, make a cocoon, wait for the cocoon to get finished up, then emerge as an adult alien and start expanding the hive, gathering hosts, and living out normal hive life. On this dangerous planet, you’ll receive numerous threats to the hive’s survival, and any major screw-ups could lead to the destruction of the hive, so think and act responsibly. And that’s all I gotta say on the subject. I’ll have you guys start posting profiles, if you’d like to, over the next day and a half to two days, and then I’ll start this bad boy up.
